Shades of Motherhood Network Mobilizes Fire Relief Support for Spokane Families

Spokane, WA — August 7, 2026 — In response to the Spokane fire emergency, the Shades of Motherhood Network is mobilizing essential supplies to support local families impacted by evacuations, displacement, and urgent need.

Through generous partnerships, Amazon is providing four pallets of diapers and wipes, while CARE USA is providing 500 personal hygiene kits and 200 Baby Essentials Bags filled with supplies for infants and families.

A special thank-you goes to Northtown Mall for supporting community-centered work through Diverse Roots, home to Shades of Motherhood Network programming, resources, and family support. Having an accessible community space like Diverse Roots allows our team to respond quickly when families need us most.
